Shenandoah Health Associates, LLC. is a proud supporter of all branches of the U.S. Military, and we are very excited to be a part of the Military Stress Recovery Project!
The Military Stress Recovery Project is a volunteer movement of acupuncture professionals designed to provide free acupuncture treatments for veterans returning from Iraq or Afghanistan, and also welcomes veterans from all other past conflicts or wars as well as the veterans' family members. We are proud to be a part of this movement, and hope to show that acupuncture can play a vital role in the healing process of readjustment after deployment.
The Military Stress Recovery Project is a growing, nationwide movement of acupuncture volunteers. As a part of The Military Stress Recovery Project, Shenandoah Health Associates, LLC. uses community-style acupuncture to provide caring, compassionate treatment in a group setting. This model of treatment allows everyone treated to experience relief from stress and trauma together. It is our belief that when the entire group feels calm and quiet, everyone can experience powerful feelings of hope, determination and resiliency.
Community-style acupuncture treatments will be provided for veterans free of charge. Please check our calendar for dates. Location is 132 S. Cameron St., Winchester, VA. All are welcome.
